I shall share my life experiences with subconscious power. These experiences have really transformed my life from a village boy to an Engineer. I am basically from a farming background, my family is doing farming for years.
Experience #1
After completion of intermediate (12th), some of the students were discussing ‘Diploma in Engineering’. I also decided to become an Engineer, but problem was that I was not aware that how to become an engineer.
My father wanted me to go for some government job like Postman or so. But when I said that I want to become an Engineer, my whole family was in my support because of my good academic record. There was only one diploma Engineer in my whole village at that time.
I seek guidance from my friend, who was the college topper in 12th. He said that you need to qualify entrance exam to become an engineer. If you get a good rank, then you can go to a good college for doing 4 years of Engineering course. After taking his advice, I thanked him. I determined to become an engineer and put my effort into the process to qualify for the exam. I could visualize myself as an engineer before I really become the one. In the year 2006, I have completed my engineering.
This was my first experience with firm belief. If you commit to something, then the universe supports you through various means.
Experience #2
I got selected in one of India’s biggest engineering company, immediately after my B. Tech (Engineering). But before that, things were very tough.
The college, in which I got admission, was relocated and construction work was going on there. I was in the second batch of engineering. This was a complete shock to me as well as to my father when both of us reached there for admission formalities. I wanted to return back but my father convinced me to be there as things will improve in the next four years.
Time passed and when I was in my third year, the first batch was putting effort for placement in their final year. Hardly anyone got a selection from campus as companies were not willing to come to this relatively new campus. Though many got selected later in various companies from that first batch. Our complete batch was in worry for our own placement. If things do not improve, we shall be in trouble.
When you are on campus, you are among few, but once you are out of campus, there are thousands of engineering roaming around as a competitor of you for the job.
During that phase, I set one belief to myself. That belief was ‘I will walk out of this college with a good job in my hand’. Then things started moving to support this belief. I continued to put my best effort into the preparation of job-related entrance exams, interviews, and group discussion-related activities.
Things were hardly moving on the placement front on the campus. In the last phase, I got the job through the off-campus selection process. It was like a miracle!
Power of Beliefs
A few years back, I was reading a book titled ‘The power of your subconscious mind’ by Joseph Murphy. At that time I was able to visualize the reflection of this power in the above stories. Before that, I was not at all aware of this amazing power. (Image credit Wikipedia)
