If you are given the challenge to attract positive thoughts throughout a day, then what will be your reaction? Will you accept this challenge? And what if, the time increases from a single day to a week or a month? You will promptly say no. This will be the reaction of many people.
But this is not the case with successful people. Maybe at the initial period, they might have faced some challenges but later in life, it becomes their core belief. Having a rich mental state of attracting positive thoughts is the prime mover to navigate their lives in the right direction.
It all starts with rich thinking to become successful in life. Rich and successful people are able to maintain this discipline throughout their life, once they adopted it. There is no pressure on them to maintain this, but it all happens automatically. It became part of their routine habit.

The habit of doing a Job or Business
How does a person learn to do a job? He or she joined a company, then start learning about his or her role and responsibilities. During this phase, they get support from seniors. Slowly after some time, they start performing their tasks. Later they become efficient in their functions. If you ask them something related to their role when they are sleeping, they will provide you a proper answer.
Once it happened to me as well. I was there on the night shift, there was some critical issue arisen in one project. I needed the solution from another department. And I was not having any other option but to call that department head. He was in slumber at it was around 3 o’clock at night, he narrated some steps to follow to resolve that issue. I did exactly and it work.
Similarly, how about doing business. It’s more difficult compare to a job to start with. There is very little guidance available at each and every stage. But as individual practice, slowly thing starts improving along with time. Here again, the time period is more compare to the job to understand the complete process. But once an individual understands it, he or she becomes the master of that process.
Once an individual understands doing a job or business, he or she adopted a set of patterns. Slowly these patterns become a habit, a habit of doing a job, or a habit of doing business.
Engage in rich thinking
With some routine positive habits, successful people become happy, enthusiastic, energetic, and well-balanced. This might not be the case from an early stage, but once they understand that these are the important traits to follow to achieve goals, they make them part of their daily life.
They feel powerful, in control, confident, and energized. This is not by accident. They are disciples of Rich Thinking. When they talk to themselves, their words are uplifting, not critical. They congratulate themselves internally all the time. They use positive affirmations every day to reinforce their attitudes and create a positive mindset. When they face problems and obstacles, they treat them as opportunities.
Successful people control their thoughts and emotions. Bad thoughts are displaced immediately by good thoughts. They understand that allowing a bad thought even a second of life will permit the bad thought to take root and eventually change their behavior in a negative way. They feed their minds with positive, good thoughts, and let them take root, eventually blossoming, and one-day bearing fruit.
Every day we are bombarded with bad thoughts from various media outlets. The information we absorb causes fear, anxiety, and it is easy to fall victim to these negative inputs. Successful people realize this and try to minimize their consumption of television, radio programming, or Internet sites that are negative. Rather, they watch or listen to programming that is constructive or uplifting. They read positive newspaper or magazine articles and stay away from the negative ones. Successful people control what they see and hear every day.
They express gratitude for all that life has given to them every day, oftentimes before sleep or upon waking in the morning.
Don’t be a self-critic
Unsuccessful people are critical of themselves. They are often their own worst critics. They engage in negative, destructive thinking. Also, they allow bad thoughts to enter their minds and take root, which eventually causes bad behavior. They lack motivation, enthusiasm, and often fall into states of mental depression that can last for a long time. They engage with negative programming on television and radio. Even they buy newspapers with headlines designed to upset base emotions. They feel hopeless and powerless.
One of the most successful techniques used to alter your mindset is to employ positive affirmations. These are words we can feed our minds every day to foster the attitude we desire. Think & feel as if you have already accomplished your desire through these affirmations. All these must be specific & in the present tense.
Positive Affirmations
“I attract positive thoughts”
“I accomplish my goals.”
“I am successful.”
“I make _____ amount in a year.”
“I am a senior executive in my company.”
“I pay for my child’s college tuition out of my earnings or savings.”
“I love my job.”
“I enjoy doing my business”
“I am confident.”
“I have a large network of relationships.”
“I call my parents every week.”
Positive affirmations represent the picture of the individual you hope to be, the things you hope to achieve, assets you hope to own, and income you hope to earn. Make a list of positive affirmations and keep them by your side. Review them once in the morning, once in the afternoon, and right before you go to sleep. Let these positive affirmations seep into your mind every day. They represent your most positive, good thoughts, and they will take root. Events and circumstances will begin to manifest themselves around your positive thoughts and opportunities will appear seemingly out of thin air.
